Heaven Meaning

I had no idea for heaven but I also did it.

The five people you meet in the Heaven could connect Defending your Life because they had the same idea that was need people to think what about life is when they were die. For example, Eddie died by Freddy’s Free Fall. It seemed the ending for Eddie but it also was the beginning. He would met the five people and learned what forgive is in heaven. Daniel died by car accident on his birthday. He went to a waiting room for afterlife to learn over fear. They had the same idea but they also had difference. Daniel could go back earth to learn over fear again when he did not overcome his fear. He had chance again and again, but Eddie did not had.

Classmates' Heaven

Heaven had difference meaning when I read my classmate blog. Some people believe in heaven; some people did not believe it. They also thought heaven was comfortable, beautiful and they will live in heaven. I had a new idea when I read Daiki’s blog. He did not believe in heaven but he believed in reincarnation. I did not think about that. I thought if human had reincarnation, they would very happy because they can be human again. I really want to know what the heaven look like and if human was died where they will go.

My Peaceful Heaven

It will be a beautiful, peaceful and comfortable place that will be my heaven. I believe people will go to heaven when they were die, they also will become stars but I thought it was just for good people. I think my heaven will be an island. It has sunshine every day and many sorts of trees or flowers. It has a house and has a Ferris Wheel and a carousel near by my house because it was my favorite game. Even though I already grew up, I also love them. How beautiful! I will live with my parents, my parent’s parents and on and on. It seems like a simple life just like live on earth but I think heaven is peaceful, and comfortable. It has not any war, has not any cry and has not any bad thing. It just has a lot of laugh.

Santa Monica Pier

I liked to visit Santa Monica Pier because it is romantic, beautiful and terrific place, which is near by the Santa Monica beach and is a family amusement park. It is not large but it also has pubs and restaurants. When I arrived at the Santa Monica Pier with my boyfriend, I saw the Ferris wheel that was very beautiful. Do you know I love Ferris wheel and carousel so much? When I go to amusement park I always will play it even though I was grow up. It has small roller coaster, small bumper cars and many kinds of games. I did not play them because I thought it was not exciting for me but I saw many children was very happy with their parents to play the games. I walked to the boardwalk, I heard soothing sounds of the waves, smelled much salty, ocean scent. I also saw many sorts of stands such as sell souvenir and help the people to draw the picture. If you wait the sun went back to the sky, you will see the Ferris wheel and Coaster lights as shown at night that was beautiful and romantic. I am sure I will go back to there because I love Ferris wheel.

Was the Trojan War wroth it?

Trojan War was unworthy/ meaningless, selfish and cruel when I saw the movie of Helen of Troy. The war was born in the beautiful woman, Helen who was wife of Spartan King Menelaus and the Paris, prince of Troy. Paris and Helen were fall in love and he took her to his hometown Troy. I thought it was unworthy because Menelaus knew Helen did not love him, why he wanted to have the war for her. The war also was selfish and cruel. Menelaus’s brother Agamemnon was killed his daughter to get the winds. How can do that? I could not forgive him to kill his daughter even though I knew he felt guilty. I thought he did not love Helen, he just want to have sex with Helen and own her. I did not think this was the reason to trigger a war. I thought maybe Agamemnon also wanted to get the rich state, Troy so he had war. Finally, I really thought the Trojan War was unworthy.

Clash of the Titans

Clash of the Titans was the jealous, brave and exciting movie. The story was talk about the son of the god Zeus, Perseus. He had many test when Zeus was punish Calibos who was son of the sea goddess Thetis, to transform into a horrible monster because Thetis was jealous Perseus. Perseus was fall in love with the princess Andromeda. In the wedding, Thetis was angry because Andromeda's mother Cassiopeia said her daughter was more beautiful than Thetis. She was punish Andromeda, the offer was give Andromeda to the Kraken. Perseus used his wisdom to save his lover, Andromeda. He was very brave that was he killed Medusa, who watch her face will turn to stone and defeated the Kraken by the head of Medusa. I did not believe gods lived in the world, but I thought it was very exciting when I watched the movie. If you had gods' helping you might had a good life and also had amazing thing such as s flying horse and a invisible helmet.

Absolutely Normal Chaos

I am very confused because I cannot find the connection between the Odyssey and the Journal.I find the similar thing between the Odyssey and the Journal but I am not sure it was right.

I thought Athena seem like Aunt Radence. In the book Odyssey, Athena told Telemachus the truth that was his father, Odyssey still live somewhere in the world and helped Telemachus to find his father, give him boats and a crew. In the Journal was Aunt Radence also told Carl Ray the truth that was his real father was not Uncle Carl Joe, his real father was called Mr. Furtz and give him the information of Mr. Furtz.

Gods

Gods had love, jealous and powerful in the story. I thought the gods could control everything and do anything, but I changed myself when I heard my classmates presented. Sometimes gods like the human, they had love, jealous and they will be die, but they were also greater than the human. They had many types, such as the god of the sun, the god of the sea and the goddess of marriage or love. They had some difference power seem like magic, they could change their look whenever they like and they could control human’s life such as Odyssey. I thought they were pitiful when I knew their story that was many gods would kill by their children. Actually, I did not remember the entire gods name but I thought they were very interesting. Maybe they also had many funny stories in the world.

Temescal Canyon

I like to hike Temescal Canyon because it is beautiful, clean and exciting place for me. I went to Temescal Canyon in the afternoon. In first time I was look around the Mountain, I thought it was very beautiful because there had many flowers and trees. I saw the many purple flowers, which seems like lavenders, it was very petty. I thought the American government could write some notice to introduce the flowers and trees because I want to know what kind of the flowers or trees in many time, but I did not found the information of them. Temescal Canyon was a clean place when I hiked, I did not see any rubbish in the ground. When I hiked, I heard some people say Temescal Canyon had waterfall, so I tried to find it. I almost hiked fifty minutes, I saw the waterfall in front of the bridge, but I was very disappointed because the waterfall was too small. In this time, I saw many children were climbed the waterfall; I felt it was exciting, so I followed them. When I climbed the top of the waterfall, I saw many mountain peak that were linked together, it was gorgeous. I thought it was a good experience for me; I am planning to hike next mountain on next week.

Castaway

The three main ways they are similar, it was Karana and Chuck had the friends in the Island. They talked to their friend everyday. Karana and Chuck tried to live in the Island. They learned to hunt and cook in the Island. They also tried to use canoe to leave the Island. They used some ways to leave Island and leave lonely.How about the Different? Karana and Chuck had a friend in the Island but it was very different between Karana and Chuck. I thought Karana was better than Chuck because Karana made friends to with animals who have feeling and emotion, they can play with Karana, so she did not afraid of loneliness. Chuck just had a friend of the volleyball, Wilson. He did not talk and play to Chuck. I thought Chuck was too lonely, so he tried to kill himself.

Babe VS Wilbur

I found some similarities and differences between Babe and Wilbur when I saw the movie. The book and the movie are talk about “Pig”. They also described the friendship of the humans and animals. Babe and Wilbur had best friends to help them to be a special pig. Babe had a best friend - Fly, she taught Babe how to be a sheepdog or sheep pig. Wilbur had a spider – Charlotte to save his life. I also found some differences between Babe and Wilbur. Babe was braver than Wilbur in the movie because he saved sheep from wolfs and he became to a sheep pig and saved his life. In the book, Wilbur was afraid when he knew he wanted to be killing from Mr. Zuckerman. Charlotte wanted to comfort him and found the way to save him. I think Babe can have a better life because he was a brave pig; he will try to learn how to be a sheep pig and save his life.

Venice Beach

Venice Beach is looks like gorgeous scenery that is a beautiful, soft, active, I had never seen. I arrived at Venice Beach at 06:00P.M., I saw the sun sits on the water that was the sun went slowly back into the sea, the sky was painted in gold and many seagull fled in the gold sky. It seems like beautiful scenery. I stood in the beach shore; I felt the sand filling the gaps between my toes and heard the soothing sounds of the waves. The feeling was soft. In my left hand, I saw many people played the volleyball; sometimes I heard their scream and laugh. It looks like very exciting. I think I can go to play with them ever though I do not know how to play.

Improve

I already look five classmate’s blog. I though many classmates were improved their English, they were better than me of the writing skills or grammar. They sometimes will have a little wrong spells and wrong grammar. They always used many difficult words and I do not understand the meaning. I do not know it was a good thing or bad thing for them, but I though it was a bad for me. I know I must want to spend more time in my English. I also thought several classmate were never improved. I hope they will spend more time in the English.

Presentation

Today, we had presentations in the class and I found two things make me interesting. I thought Nammin’s topic –Shadowgraph can make me interesting because it was very funny. I can use my hand to make a lot of animals in the wall or I can imagine a special thing. This was very exciting. I did not know Japan also had Calligraphy before Shion told about the Calligraphy. When I was child, I learned Calligraphy, but I just learned one form that was normal form. Some day, I think Shion could teach me the other form from the Calligraphy. In the presentation I also found two interesting for me. It was Yut. I cannot understand what Yut is when she told about that. I did not know the history and how to play, which made me confused. Cycle Engine was also not interesting to me. It was not boring; I just cannot hear the information of Cycle Engine form Kazuma, but I though they will do the best in next time and I am looking forward to the next presentation.

Presentation summary

Doenjang is useful, important, and benefit to your health’s food. Today my presentation partner is Jun who is Korean, and his presentation topic is Doenjang that is a traditional and a popular food in Korea. It is made from soybean, rice, barley and wheat. It is very useful because it looks like sauce, it usually uses in foods, and sometimes Korean will use in soup and mix with vegetables. They are very tasty. Doenjang is the most important food in Korea because the origin of Doenjang is unmatched. Doenjang is benefit to your health. If you always eat Doenjang, it can treat cancer and also prevent it. When I heard that, I thought it was good for the human.

Little Tokyo

I like Japan town – Little Tokyo because it is a nice place to visit, it have Japan cultures and it has some delicious foods. On Saturday, I went to Japan town - Little Tokyo, which had a Japan temple, Japan church and many Japan shop. It was very small but there was very beautiful and clean. I saw many beautiful sakura when I arrived at Japan temple. There had many shop, they also sell Japan product such as Clogs, origami and Hello Kitty. I bought chopsticks that have a pattern of sakura in the top. I also tasted toast octopus ball and Japan sesame seed cake. They were very delicious. I went to Little Tokyo, let me seem went to Japan. I like there.

American Bar

American Bar was boring place because it is very noisy, crowd and bad smell. I went to America Bar with my roommates in the Wednesday night. I did not order the green beer because I was sensitive to beer so I can not drunk, but my roommates all order the green beers and other beers. They were very like to drink. We saw some new friends when we were drunk. American Bar was very noisy, the shopkeeper also play Hip Hop music and too loud. I saw many people went to dance, I also went to, but I thought it was very crowd so I did not like that. American Bar had bad smell when I saw some people vomit. There was very dirty and bad smell. I thought I never will go back there.

Crazy!!!!!!!!

On Friday, my friends came to my home to have a party until this morning. It made me felt crazy! My home was really messy. There were many types of rubbish on the ground. They had been playing crazily. It made me felt angry, because I really hate to put thing in order. They put a DVD on the floor, they had been watching movie. They had been eating pizza in my living room. The most maddening thing was cups and waste papers; it were covered most of my home’s floor. They had been playing a drinking game. They made me felt really angry. Finally, I finished the arrangement; I just realized it was necessary to sweep the floor, because the floor’s surface. After this case, I won’t invite any friends to come to my home, because I really don’t want to clean my home difficultly again.

Farmers' Market rewrite

Farmers' Market is a great place for you to buy foods because it has many types of foods, nice smell and good taste. Farmers' market has fresh fruit and vegetable. The market also has delicious snacks that are raisins, honey red dates and many kinds of honey: apple, orange and strawberry. I smelt some balmy and pleasant air when I arrived at the Farmers' market. I thought the air seems like the grass if you lay on the grassland, you would smell it. I tasted and bought some honey that was very delicious, and convenient because you can taste honey anywhere whenever you like. I also tasted some oysters, it were very tasty. I like the Farmers' market, I enjoyed at the Farmers' market and I will go back there.

Farmers' market

I went to Farmer’s Market with my boyfriend on Saturday. I thought it seems like Hong Kong’s Market, but it did not open on the street. There’s foods were very fresh that look like Farmer’s Market. Do you know what is this? It is honey, which I bought in Farmer’s Market. It was very convenient because you can taste honey in anywhere whenever you like. It had many type of honey such as apple honey, orange honey and strawberry honey. The shopkeeper told to me, they used fresh fruits and a little flesh mixed into the honey. I taste it that was delicious. By the way, I also taste some oyster. It was very tasty. The shopkeeper was nice, I saw him to teach some customer how to open the oyster. However, I like Farmer’s Market I enjoy at the Farmer’s Market and I will go back there.

Most Difference

The movie was most difference than the book. The first point was Finn saw the convict at the sea in the movie. Finn’s uncle, Joe was a poor fish man. In the book, they were also poor but Joe was a blacksmith. The second point was his sister was leaved them. In the book, Finn’s sister was death. The important point was Finn was a successful artist and Estella loved him but she knows anyone cannot change their relationship. In the Book he wanted to be a gentleman and Estella did not love him. I thought the movie did not match the book title “Great Expectations” because in the movie I saw Finn did not want to be an artist or a gentleman. This is not great expectation. There just has one same thing that was Finn just loves Estella and hope they can live together.

Life in Santa Monica

I love Santa Monica very much because I think it seems like Hong Kong. Santa Monica is a great place. It has a good weather such as sunshine, blue sky, seldom gets rain and does not cold a lot. It also has beautiful beaches. By the way it is a convenient city because it has a good transportation. It has a lot of bus stop near by the house or apartments. I can easy to go anywhere. It also has many shopping centers and much type of restaurants such as Chinese food, Japanese food and Korean food. I can eat anywhere whenever I like. I had been Santa Monica almost two moths. I think American people are very nice and friendly. They always say Hello to me when I go to school or walk on the street that let me warm. Sometime I go to shopping center in the weekend. I see many people have a show. They are singing, play a magic and dance in the street. I never see this when I live in my hometown. I think it is very funny and it is an American traditional. I often go to beach with my boyfriend in the afternoon. I enjoy the sunshine and the sea even though I do not know how to swim. There have a lot of funny guys and pretty girls. They always say Hello to us and play with us. Finally, I think Santa Monica is a good place to study. I love Santa Monica. I also love study in here.

Thinking about Great Expectation

I don’t understand what is the meaning of great expectation. It was hope and dream. I am not sure. I had a dream when I was eighteen years old. I hope I can work in ICAC that look like a police. I had great expectation in one year ago. I can study in United States that was a good chance for me. There has high quality of education, and I can learn a good English. It can let me easy to go to ICAC. I thought I seem like Pip. He wanted to be a gentleman, and I wanted to be a law enforcement officials.

Grammar Quiz

I did the Grammar Quiz on Sunday. I did this program such as Superstitions, Practice for EIKEN Fourth Grade - Part Two Preparation, Choose the Correct Indefinite Article ('a' or 'an'), Present Perfect or Past Tense, Assorted Questions – 1, Hong Kong, Canada Facts, Various Grammar Questions, To Be: Past and Present, Telephone English. I was almost got 80%, sometimes I got 100%, but I can’t get 80% in Telephone English. I don’t understand. I finished this program I knew how to use a, an, in, the, and ask question, but I want to learn tense but I cannot found them.

Movie VS Book

I saw Les Miserables movie on Thursday. I found more difference things between movie and the book. First point, Jean Valjean just ran away to take Cosette at Thenardier in the movie Thenardier let them go when he saw Fantine’s letter. In the book, Javert caught Jean Valjean to warship. Jean ran away when he helped the seaman. Thenardier cannot let them go, they was san away. It was more difference than book. Second point, they never dressed poor and live in the poor area in the movie. Last point, it was an important point in the movie or the book. When Jean Valjean knew Javert want to catch him, Cosette want to know the truth, he told the truth that was he was a convict to Cosette. It was more difference than the book, because Cosette knew the truth was Jean Veljean near death in the book. However I have not saw the entire movie, I am looking forward the movie on Monday.

Korean Food

I went to Korean restaurant that is call Korean Barbeque Buffet Restaurant with my roommate on Thursday. This was my first time taste Korean food. The tables middle has an iron plate that use to cook the meat. The outside of the table have many foods, you can choose everything whenever you like to eat. It seems like buffet. I was taste a soup with seaweed and Kim chi. It was delicious. I put many types of meat on the iron plate too cook. It was tasty when I ate. The restaurant proprietor also taught our how to eat Korean food. First, she put a vegetable on her hand. Second she put some rise on the vegetable, after she put a piece of meat on the rice and put a little soy on it. Last, she rolled them together. It looked like Chinese Spring rolls. It was also delicious, but my favorite food was seaweed soup.

Origami

Today I saw the video about origami that is Japanese traditional art. I was being surprise when I saw it. It was amazing. They folding paper and use one sheet without glue and scissors to make the figure such as animals or building. When I was child, I learn it in the kindergarten by my mother who was art teacher. She taught me more origami but I didn’t know it since in Japan. Now, origami was become modern. It can use mathematical to create the new figure whenever u want. If you did not knew how to folding it and had what you want to make. It had computer program to let you how to folding it even though it was a complex figure. It was a great for everyone.

Summary of Les Miserables

This book calls Les Miserables that was written by Victor Hugo. The story happened at France when Jean Valjean was twenty-five years old. He was a prisoner because he stolen a loaf of bread to his nephew. After nineteen years, he was released from prison, but he had unfair treatment since he was an ex-convict. He became an honest man and began a new life when he had bishop’s mercy. He promised Fantine to take care her daughter who was Cosette. In addition, Javert knew Jean Valjean who was and want to catch him. Jean Valjean escaped with Cosette to Paris, Cosette saw Marius and they fall in love. Jean Valjean saved Javert in crusade. After all, Marius and Cosette married. Marius and Cosette knew the truth when Jean Valjean near death. I already saw this book, I thought this story was pitiful and touching. I thought Jean Valjean was alone in his life because nobody knew his secret and he can’t talk to anyone. He love Cosette as her father but she did not know.

Think about the lyric

I already saw the lyric of all. I thought “Valjean escapes to go to Fantine. She is lying in a hospital bad, dreaming of her daughter Cosettle ” could be match my life. In my six years old, I had an unforgettable memory that happened in my sixth birthday. That day I went to home early. My parents prepared big birthday party for me. Make me surprise! They invited their friends and my friends. I had many blessing and a big cake. They gave me a lot of gifts. My grandfather gave me a big gift. This was the watch. I treated he with respect. I love him so much. After half year, my grandfather had heart disease. My parents took me to hospital and visited him. In that moment, I was very afraid and nervous. I thought he was near death. My parents want to protect me when my grandfather told them, because he said I was his princess. After that, he was died with a smile. I cried all day. I can’t imagine this was real. That year was my unforgettable. It was happy and sad memory, but I know my grandfather will guard me in the other places.

Summaey of Twilight

I watched the movie of Twilight at last weekend. I knew this movie was very popular in the United State in one year ago, but I did not have any time to see before. This was my first time to watch movie without the subtitles. The story was about love. Bella Swan was a fashionable girl. She lived in a rainy town of Froks with her father. She went to school first day, she met Edward and loved him who was a handsome vampire, but he and his family were more different than the other vampire. They did not drunk human’s blood. They fall in love quickly, but Edward had a problem that is Bella had a difference scent. It can let Edward lost control to drunk human’s blood.
I thought it was romantic and exciting. I love this movie and I understand the movie because they speak very slowly. If I can’t hear that I will pause and see again. However, I knew it had second film that is call New Moon. I thought I would watch it in next weekend.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

This book called The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Tom was an orphan, a naughty boy and loved adventures. The story beginning was Tom met Becky at school and love her. Tom and Huck saw Injun Joe killed Doc Robinson when they went to graveyard. The middle was Tom worried about Becky and Muff Potter. Tom was a hero when he told the truth in the court. The end of Tom and Becky lost in the cave, let he found out Injun Joe's treasure. Suddenly Tom was a rich man.

Summary of Tom and Huck

Beginning
Tom ran away with his friends at midnight. Aunt Polly make him work that was brush fence. After that Tom met Huck and Becky. Tom and Huck saw something when they went to graveyard.

Middle
Tom told the truth that was Injun Joe killed Doc Robinson in the court. Suddenly, Tom seems like a hero.

End
Tom and Becky met Injun Joe when they lost in the cave. Huck went to cave to help Tom before Injun Joe want to kill him. Tom played a trick on Injun Joe and let him fell down into the cave. They took the treasure and leave cave.

Differences

I watched the movie of Tom and Huck. I already read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in the morning class. I find the movie is more different than the book. I had three differences.

First point is Tom and Huck saw Injun Joe killed Doc Robinson when they went to graveyard. This is important point in the movie because Tom threw down the ball in the graveyard. It let Injun Joe had a clue to found Tom. In the book it wrote they saw but they did not threw down anything. The second point is Injun Joe did not found the treasure in the graveyard. He just found the map of treasure. Injun Joe follow the map, he went to haunted house and fount out the treasure when Tom and Huck went to there. The last point is Injun Joe was dead in the cave but he fell down the cave. Huck never went to cave to help Tom and found the gold by first time.

Les Miserables

I read Les Miserables in this morning. Jean Valjean is a convict in the story. Everyone were afraid him. The inn did not rent the room to him. I thought he was very pitiful. After that, he had a new name and go to Madeleine began a new life when he met the good man. He gave a bed to hospital and built a new school for the children. He was a good man and was a mayor in the town. He help Fantine’s daughter and live together. He seems her father. Actually he is a convict but he still is good.

In my life or society, people sometimes will use the wrong position to see the convict. I will change after I saw this book. The convicts also have well if they had a reason to do convict. They are so pitiful. I believe someone to do a convict that must have reason.

Tom Sawyer

I already read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer at last weekend. I thought the story was exciting. In the story, Tom was an orphan and likes to go to adventure. He was a naughty boy, played a trick on her aunt and always told a lie. In the story middle, he became a hero when he told the truth that is Injun Joe is a murderer. I respected his act of justice. He was a brave boy. If I knew the truth I will scare and I might not tell to other people. Actually he was afraid before, but at the last he was still tell the truth.

In my life, I am not a brave girl. I will afraid to everything. For instance, I am afraid of English and speak. I will afraid of drive. I will afraid to meet some new friends. I like to go to adventure but I just have a simply life. I thought the book was exciting when I read it.

I want to learn ?

I went to Santa Monica College before I went to Seattle to study. But I thought it is not be good for me. I hope I can learn more Grammar, writing skills and speak skills when I'm in Susan's Class. I’m interest in Susan’s Class because she is a funny woman, but I am still afraid to learn English and to speak. I thought someone would tease to me, so I know it could be hard to me. I have an important problem that is writing. I like to read and I can understand by it, but I can't write my feeling every time. Sometimes, I knew the words meaning but I don't know how to use it.

In addition, my writing grammar always is wrong and spell words are difficult for me, but I will learn it. However I hope I can use this blog to improve my writing skills. So I will work hard to here everyday.
